Cookies keep your cart together, remember your preferences and help us measure and improve the store. Here is what we use on lopiswear.com, and how to manage it.
Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary — required for the store to function: keeping items in your cart, remembering your session, securing checkout and preventing fraud. Set by Shopify (e.g. _shopify_s, _shopify_y, cart, secure_customer_sig, _secure_session_id) and our payment provider. These cannot be switched off.
Preferences — remember choices such as currency, language and whether you have dismissed a notice (e.g. localization, keep_alive).
Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it: pages viewed, time on page, errors. Set by Shopify analytics and Google Analytics (e.g. _ga, _gid, _shopify_sa_p, _landing_page). Data is aggregated and does not identify you directly.
Advertising — used by Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google and similar partners to measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads on other sites (e.g. _fbp, _gcl_au). These cookies enable targeted advertising, which you can opt out of below.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set period (persistent cookies). "First-party" cookies are set by lopiswear.com; "third-party" cookies are set by services we use, such as analytics and advertising platforms. We also use similar technologies — pixels, local storage and SDKs — which this policy treats in the same way.
Third Parties That Set Cookies
Cookies from partners appear on our Site for specific jobs: Shopify runs the store and its built-in analytics; Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) secures payments; Google and Meta measure and deliver advertising; and our review, tracking and email apps support customer service. These companies have their own privacy policies governing what they do with the data; our agreements limit their use to the purposes listed here.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can also control cookies through your browser: block or delete them in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge under privacy settings (blocking essential cookies will prevent checkout from working). To opt out of targeted advertising cookies specifically, use the controls on the Cookie preferences page, enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honor, or use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out of Google Analytics is possible with Google's browser add-on.
Cookie Lifetimes
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last between 30 minutes (session-tracking) and 13 months (analytics and advertising identifiers), after which they expire unless renewed by a new visit. You can delete any cookie earlier through your browser settings.
