Privacy Notice

LOPIS is committed to handling your personal information responsibly and transparently. Below you will find, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, with whom it is shared, and how to reach us about your data. This policy took effect on November 3, 2026.

1. What We Collect

The personal information we handle falls into these groups: (1) contact and identity data such as your name, email, postal addresses and phone number; (2) transaction data — what you bought, when, and the payment method used, with card details handled entirely by Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and never stored by us in full; (3) correspondence, including support requests, return forms and product reviews; (4) technical data collected automatically — IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and how you interact with them, via cookies described in our Cookie Policy; and (5) your marketing choices.

2. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf. This policy applies to information collected through lopiswear.com, by email, phone and our contact and return forms.

3. Third Parties

Your data is shared with service providers that help us deliver what you bought, each bound to use it only for that purpose: Shopify, which hosts our store; Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and the payment networks, for payment and fraud screening; carriers and warehouses in the United States, China and the European Union — including USPS, UPS and JS Express — which receive delivery details; the email, messaging and help-desk tools we use to support you; and analytics and advertising platforms that set cookies on the Site (see the Cookie Policy for controls). We also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our rights. We never sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through the cookie-based advertising you can opt out of.

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

Retention is tied to purpose: transaction data stays for 7 years (tax and warranty), support tickets for 3 years, marketing consent records until you opt out plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again, and technical logs for up to 12 months. After that, we delete or anonymize the data unless we must keep it for a legal claim or a statutory obligation.

5. Why We Use Your Data

We use personal information to: process and deliver your orders and send order, shipping and delivery updates; provide customer support and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims; prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site and our payment provider; comply with legal obligations, including tax and consumer protection laws; improve the Site, our products and your shopping experience through analytics; and, with your consent or where permitted, send you marketing communications about our products and offers. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Email Communications

We send marketing emails only to customers and subscribers, and you can stop them at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message or by emailing contact@lopiswear.com; we process the request within 10 business days. Our emails always show who they are from and our physical mailing address, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. Opting out of marketing does not affect order confirmations, shipping notices or replies to your requests.

7. Data Security

Your data travels over encrypted connections, card payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors so full card numbers never reach us, and only authorized staff can access customer records. We rely on Shopify's security infrastructure for hosting. While we work hard to keep information safe, no system is invulnerable; in the event of a security incident involving your personal information, we will inform you and the authorities in accordance with applicable breach-notification laws.

8. Your Privacy Rights (United States)

Regardless of the state you live in, you can ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information (subject to legal retention); receive a portable copy of it; and opt out of marketing, of targeted advertising cookies (on the Cookie preferences page), and of any sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Send requests to contact@lopiswear.com with the subject "Privacy request"; we verify your identity using the email associated with your orders and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we explain why and you may appeal by replying to our response. Residents of Maryland may also have rights under the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Md. Code, Com. Law § 14-4601 et seq., and may contact the Maryland Attorney General if an appeal is denied. Do Not Track: our Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control opt-out signals for targeted advertising where technically supported.

9. Children Under 13

We do not sell to or knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). Should we learn that we hold information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we delete it. Parents or guardians who have concerns can reach us at contact@lopiswear.com.

11. Updates

This policy is reviewed regularly. When we change it, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; significant changes are also communicated by a notice on the Site or by email. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
